CEC continues to make substantial progress on the Port of Oakland's contract #2022-08-M1

California Engineering Contractors, Inc. (CEC) continues to make substantial progress on the Port of Oakland's contract #2022-08-M1. The project increases the mooring capacity of the Port of Oakland's Middle Harbor Berths (55-59) from vessels with 18,000 containers to those carrying 24,000 containers (Twenty Foot Equivalents). The work on this project consists of furnishing and installing marine bollards and fenders, including, but not limited to, removal and disposal of existing bollards and fenders (circa 2000), installing wharf strengthening bracing beams at Berths 55-56 fender locations, drilling and installing new anchor bolts, and placing and fastening bollards, fenders and associated hardware. At completion, the project will install 92 new fenders and 85 new bollards.
