Vincent Thomas Bridge Deck Replacement
The Vincent Thomas Bridge (VTB) is 6,000’ long and contains 4 lanes of traffic – 2 EB and 2 WB. The existing deck is deteriorating and will be removed in stages and replaced. To gain access to the bridge we will first install access systems for the crews which will also serve as protective cover for the businesses, roadways, and waterway below the bridge. This project is a joint venture with Skanska and is a CMGC that is currently in preconstruction phase.
